Was having a quick check over my new steed and I noticed that the rim recommends a range of widths between 18 - 25c. The Continental Ultra Sports which came on it are 28c.
I've been riding it for a week and I can't feel any issues, but was wondering if I'm likely to create any? Inflated to ~ 110psi front and rear. Which feels far better than the ~ 60psi I cycled home with!
Seems a bit odd that a shop (Evans) would fit something out-with the recommendation, under-inflate, and not line the label on the tyre with the valve! 2 of these things are legitimate gripes!
