I have never been into gambling.

I put the odd bet on if I'm at the football, watching a game in the pub with mates during the world cup etc to make it a bit more interesting but apart from that never go to the bookies.

I do however when I go to a racecourse enjoy a flutter but then never think about betting on a horse until the next time I'm at the racing. Never watch it, read about it etc.......

I think it may have been different if I had won on my first ever bet. That seems to be the catalyst for some folk.

Very organised!

Did you plough your winnings back into the betting pot or keep them separate?

I gambled for three years some while back. About 10-20 quid a week on football, tennis and other assorted sporting events.

However I kept a record of everything I won and lost.

Over three years I was about 400 quid down.

So knocked it on the head.
