This is a bike I built from a brand new frame, forks and mostly new components at the end of lockdown. Strava tells me it has done circa 800 miles.
Size 54 Ridley Tempo, Aluminium frame with rigid carbon forks.
Gearing is 3 x 8 Sora. Front chainset is 52-42-30. The 52 & 42 rings were new at rebuild.
The cassette is 12-26 . The cassette and chain were replaced less than 50 miles ago.
Seat post and front mech were new at rebuild as were the mudguards, bars and shifters. The Vision Team 35 wheels were added about two years ago to replace the Askiums I put on it originally.
Obviously as it was a bare frame build a new bottom bracket was fitted. The bb is square taper which imho are still the easiest and best!
Brakes are Mitche
Shifters are Shimano
Seat is a Spesh Riva
Tyres are Continental
Pre drilled holes for rear rack
Works equally well as a flat bar (it's current situation or as a drop bar bike, see photos)
Bike is in Chester. Collection only.
£225 which considering the condition I think is very acceptable.
If someone wants to convert it back to a drop bar, the bars and Sora Flight Deck shifters would be an extra £25 (but you could sell on the flat bar shifters)
I have stuck some toe clip pedals on it as I am also advertising it on Gumtree etc and a lot of non bike people struggle with the concept that bikes come without pedals!
