I am Paris on business and it was such a nice evening I decided to go for a ride on a Velib. I have to say I was very impressed, particularly as the last two times I have tried to hire a Boris Bike my card was refused.
Bit clunky I suppose, but fun all the same, although I bottled out of riding around the round about at the Arc de Triomphe. For €1.70 you get 24 hours hire and the bikes are free provided you do less than 30 minutes. I might get up early and have a ride around the Bois de Boulogne.
