Hi All
Any thoughts on the Ridgeback Meteor, ther's a 17inch frame got my eye on, Would that be ok for 26/27 inch inside leg, I can appreciate about trying before buying!!

Years ago before things got scientific a rule of thumb was to measure your inside leg from groin to floor then deduct 10 inches to leave you a good starting point for your frame. I know there are other measurements and considerations, but this measurement has always worked for me.

I have a Ridgeback with a 17" frame and have a 29" inside leg. It's just about OK with 4" of seat post. I'm pretty sure this will be too big for you. You'd have to set the saddle pretty low. See if you can get a 15". This will give you more room for adjustment.

Been pretty happy with the bike - but ditch the pedals, they're made of cheese.
