Nice spec, carbon fork, hydraulic discs. Assuming it's the red 2016 model, looks snazzy too  It's eye catching so if leaving it anywhere make sure it's locked with a couple of solid locks and is fully insured (especially as on C2W)

Good commuter, will take proper mudguards and a fixed pannier rack

Ergo grips good for comfort and you could add bar ends for more hand positions on longer rides if needed

Looks to be a little more rugged than some fast hybrids, not the lightest at over 11kg but certainly not shabby. You might be able to add thinner and lighter tyres to improve speed a little on roads

Triple groupset, good if riding in hilly parts

Evans do sell it, so you could possibly get a test ride if needed. Even with C2W tax savings, it's quite a chunk of change to spend on a bike untested and unseen (can you use Evans or only something like Cyclesolutions)

Cyclesolutions. And yes it's the red 2016 bike. £750 to buy £450 though c2w scheme.
It's still £750. £450 as you buy from gross not net income on salary sacrifice. Have you checked whether there's a final payment to your company which may up the cost?

Enjoy the new bike

Ah I thought you were being sarcastic! Sorry

I'll let you off.

This time.

Cool. As I say, just make sure it's insured, as should the worst happen you'd still have to pay for it until the hire term is up

I have a £175 rockrider it's battered but that will be my run around. I will be insuring it but the hydraulic drake is putting me off. (Never had them before)

They are fine IME. I did over 1000 miles on a previous bike without any issue at all. Sometimes they'd squeak in the wet but that's fine as they also stop the bike much better in the wet
