Sounds like a rolling road enclosure has gone wrong, apparently Mathieu Riebel was trying to get his team mate Erwan Brenterch back up to the peloton after a mechanical in the Au tour d'elles & whilst descending the Col de la Pirogue at around 80 kmh, he colllided with an ambulance coming in the opposite direction, Erwan Brenterch suffered a broken leg.
