Thanks for the reminder. I received an email and I think it said you can log in and register for one of a couple of waves.
I don't think there are many as it kicks off relatively late.
Incidentally @Lee gg where are you heading in from?

Essex down the m11 then parking near Liverpool Street, that way it's roughly 4 miles to the start and after 4 back to Liverpool St.

Hi Lee
Snap!
  • Rider Number (Bib Number): 92161
  • Start Area: Orange
  • Wave: N
  • Start Time: 09:06
I'll be riding to the start from my daughter's place in Islington -about 6 miles.
This is my first real sportive this year following an altercation with a van in January - broke a shoulder blade in two places and four ribs. Us old guys don't bounce off the tarmac as well as we used to! Hoping to do about 2.5 hours depending on conditions and traffic.

Creepy, I was going to go from my in laws in Islington. But changed to Old Street, I'm looking at around 3 hours due to all the other bike freaks expected like me, also I don't want to race around it and miss the occasion not every day you ride on traffic free roads and big crowds lining the way. If you fancy a partner on the day before sure to say hello.

I'd planned to ride down to Old Street roundabout and then pick up the signed route along A11 to Stratford, I wasn't sure about road closures at the north side of QEOP plus the Orange start is at the south side.
We drive down from Manchester on the Friday so that I can pick up registration docs on Saturday.
Happy to partner up on the day - but I don't share my jelly babies with anyone!!

I'm parking at the office at old Street roundabout, Finsbury square. We could meet up their and ride to Stratford roughly 4 miles. Lee.
