Ribble 'Winter'/'Audax' & Pannier Racks

Hi, just received my Ribble via the 'Cycle 2 Work' scheme

I also ordered a Pannier Rack, this one;
http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/ro...-tour-ultralite-rear-pannier-rack/tortrack200

However, due to the 'hooded' (Riitchey style) drop-outs, it interferes & would scratch the paint
But...... the top mounts interfere with the brake caliper & won't mount properly

Short of getting a pair of the 'P Clips', are there any racks out there that negate both problems??

- it won't ever be loaded heavily, so I guess I can space the drop-out mounts, & thus clear the 'hood'

Can't help with the dropouts, but I did have the same problem with fouling the brake. The mounts on my bike are threaded right through so I reversed the rack fittings and bolted them to the inside of the mount then put a short bolt in the outside of the fitting to make it look nice. If that don't make sense I can post a piccy.

I just used one of the top mounting points, in a sort of asymmetrical mono-stay stylee.
Not got a decent photo of it, sadly (and after 4 :cheers: I'm not about to take one now!!) but unless you're going camping one stay should do the trick.
Can't help with the bottom mounting points though. Mine just bolted on...

My Dolan Preffisio has the same brake fouling problem. Any reason why one connecting arm shouldn't be ok for light-medium loads?! Hope not, cos that's what I have just done

I've only got one arm on my Ribble, likewise I only carry pants, socks and lunch
Can't remember what I've done at the drop outs, may have filed the tiniest bit off the rack (aldi rack) seems to be doing ok.
