Well had my first ride out on the new bike on saturday a loop of just under 28 miles rather windy miles. https://www.strava.com/activities/444614021. I am a bit of Cannondale fan boy and had two CAAD 8's prior to this bike but I must say the Mekk gives the Dale a good run for its money.

Pros
Fast and comfy ride
Looks good it doesn't look like a £ 400 quid bike
Sora 9 speed works well and is a step up from Claris / 2300 OK it's not as refined as 105 but then you wouldn't find that groupset on a 400 quid bike.
Wheel set is Shimano R500 with Continental Ultrasport II rubber which seemed quite good for the price point.
five year frame warranty and a 12 month parts warranty

The only cons I can think of so far are:

Handlebar tape felt like it could have better padding.
Saddle despite being Selle Italia I think is going to be horrible long term but I have not been on a bike for quite a while so it may be just painful until I get used to it again.
The brake and gear cable are routed through the frame and do rattle a bit. I did find some small black rubber things in a bag along with my manual and at the time I wondered what they may be for I think I may have figured their purpose..

I will definately be looking at this brand when I come to upgrade
