hi - I wonder where do the cycling public stand on the issue of revenge? It is the difference between two quotes often mention in this respect...I'm not sure of the exact words:
'evil succeeds because good men do nothing' and 'when seeking revenge dig two graves'...
my mates scenario: Mr A [married and repeat offender with previous] targets Mrs B [married and vulnerable]...fortunately it does not go all the way [thanks mainly to Mrs B] but now Mr B finds out....what should he do? Tell Mrs A? Confront Mr A? Do nothin?

Depends on Mr B's chances in a confrontation with Mr A, and its likelihood of being a punch up.
Ideally, Mr B should confront Mr A and give him a sore lesson .

Leave well alone. Nothing actually happened. Why stir up a hornets nest and possibly make 4 people angry and miserable. Mrs A must have some idea what her husband is like. It is up to them to decide individually what they should and will do. Mr B should thank his lucky stars that Mrs B did nothing and leave it at that. He may want to ask himself though why Mrs B even thought of doing something....

Well both relationships are unstable. Mr A wants to play out and they are not happy together.
Even if Mrs B didn't go go all the way, and we all have our own definition of that, Mrs B did go somewhere.
So if you ask me, If I were you, I will see what chance I have with both Mrs A and Mrs B

Agreed. And if Mrs B is indeed "vulnerable", then perhaps Mr B should turn his attention towards helping her with that.
