Returning a faulty wheel to Planet X

Hi

Has anybody ever had to send a wheel back to Planet X? If so, did they reimburse your postage?

The guy from the returns dept says they don't but their website seems to suggest otherwise.

Have a set of A57 wheels that the freehub / bearings feel shot already on (only had them 6 weeks and barely done 200 miles or so). They make a lot of loud and worrying noises and when I removed the cassette, it feels very gritty and the freehub virtually comes to an immediate stop, when you try to spin it. Not happy

That's a bit shocking Ant. I would have recommended A57s to anyone until I read this. Hope Planet X do the right thing

I know! They seem solid enough but I am just going to put it down to a faulty batch. Just hoping they agree to refund my postage costs though.

I have just returned a faulty Ultegra rear to Ribble. Cost £11.50 to send back.
I forgot to ask about refund of postage.. donut I am.
But now will when they get back to me.

2 spokes went.
1st one LBS fixed. 2nd one LBS said not to fix but send back as it would probably go again.
Ribble are sending the wheel to Shimano tech.

I've never had problem with my model b's (circa 1650miles) and neither has my brother but I've read reviews suggesting their freehubs are made of cheese (well not literally but its a good comparison ) .
