Hello everyone and sorry if this repeats previous threads.
I am returning to a drop bar road bike from a hybrid and currently do about 20miles a ride.
I am spending around £600 and have a couple of bikes in mind and would value any opinions or experiences.
  1. Ribble audax 7005 with campagnolo veloce groupset £599
  2. Orbea fleche with shimano sora £537
  3. Bianchi via nerone 7 alu again shimano sora £587
Thanks in advance

The Ribble.

A Veloce groupset is far superior to Sora and the Ribble frame is a good one.

Thanks 3 out of 3 isn't bad, none of you work for ribble do you..?
I knew the campagnolo stuff of old was excellent but had no recent knowledge and I agree the ribble does seem good value compared to branded bikes.
Guess I'll give them a call monday...

The Ribble has a relatively cheap frame. The bikes a bit on the heavy side / not the most comfortable in it's class.
However, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I love mine.

It's xmas all over again....
The new bike has been delivered and I'm smitten already!
The campagnolo groupset has a real feel of precision about it and the frame (cheap or not) is finished very well, and I'm impressed at the out of the box ready to ride condition too every thing seems set up really well.

Just need the snow to bugger off now..!
