Yes, I fitted them very easily to my old Dawes tourer the bent U shape on the end fitted perfectly and I only had to lose a few mm at the ends to tidy things up.
That might have been a coincidence and it is possible that your guard stays have a slightly different shape but it should be possible to bodge something.
afaik all stays have the same diameter of steel so they should fit OK into the new clips/
