Rescued on Lagan Cycle Path. 13th October.

Hello,
I'd like to record my greatest thanks to Jim and his wife from Lisburn who rescued me today on the Lagan Cycle Path. I'd just got my first "real" puncture on the road and I was really struggling with it as all the know-how from the practice goes I'd had seemed to leave my brain. Up cycles a couple, stopping immediatly, asking me if they could help. I gratefully accepted and Jim had it sorted in a few minutes.

We may never meet again but perhaps one day, I'll be able to help a stranded cyclist. (Not that I'd want anyone to be stranded mind you )

My crank came off in lisburn and i had no tools, a man and his wife were walking past and asked if they could help.

He said he was a cyclist and offered to walk home get some tools and come back to help me. Very nice when this happens.

I started out cycling from shaws bridge out the tow path to lisburn but havent done it for a while now, too many blind bends and dog walkers
