Replacing tyres on a Pendleton Brooke hybrid

My wife's bike currently has 26x1.75 knobblies on it and was thinking about putting some slicker rubber on it.

Would these in the 1.5 fit OK

They will fit fine. Also consider the Schwalbe Land Cruisers, great for both road and trail use
