Mate has FSA set up and always takes work in to his bike shop.

Hes strapped at the moment and was thinking about swapping his inner chainring 42T 130 PCD with a 38T, is this an easy job or best left to the shop?

If easy is there a link or instructions how to do it? Have done a search on how to remove and replace one but cant find anthing

Thanks in advance, all help appreciated

It's easy. Look at the chainset, and you'll see 5 bolts, usually allen key on the outside. Undo them. The chainrings will fall off. Wiggle the old chainring off, get the new one on and put the bolts back where they came from. Seriously, it is as easy as it looks.

Wow
As easy as that, was thinking we may have to undo the cranck and all sorts of things like taking the pedals off

Cheers Doctor, youve saved my mate a bundle - really appreciate your reply - thanks
