Replacing Disc Brake Wheel With Regular Wheel

My Boardman Hybrid Team @ 2012 (with disc wheels) is permanently set up on the turbo. The rear wheel is making a racket so was wondering whether I could just replace it with one of my spare (non-disc) road bike wheels? The rear caliper is already detached so no need for brakes.

Any reason why it would not work?
