I have a On-One steel framed single-speed bike, used solely for road riding, and am thinking about replacing/upgrading the 700c wheels - what do I need to consider in choosing and fitting some lighter wheels?

Any good guides online to read?

Axle width may be an issue (the gap between the rear drop outs), but could be the only complication as far I know.

Besides that, you should be able to pick something that suits your needs/taste without too much difficulty, unless you need some outrageously skinny/ wide rims for some reason.

Once you have the wheels all you will have to do is add some inner tubes and tyres and bolt them onto the frame, pump the tyres up, adjust your brakes as needed, and you're done.

I am of course assuming that these new wheels come with a cog or freewheel that matches your needs...
