I can't get on with the prologo saddle that came with my Planet X RT-58 so it's got to go.

I have no problem with the Boardman saddles I have on 2 other road bikes but can't find one I like on ebay.

IIRC someone mentioned here that their saddles were based on or very similar to one of the fizik saddles, so may try one if someone can confirm.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
I have a fabric scoop ,blue edging I am considering selling 'bought from here but I don't really need it

I've an RT-58 with a prologo (assume it's the same one) I found it a little uncomfortable at first and was considering changing it (initially thinking of buying another one if the saddles I have on the other bikes). I don't really notice it as much now so I don't know if I'm growing into it.
Saddles can be a bit of a lottery but the guy at the local LBS mentioned they have a number of test ones.

If you don't want yours I'll happily take it off your hands?

I personally love mine, it took a bit of getting used to, and I had to drop the nose ever so slightly. But now I love it.

Fabric scoop is supposed to be lovely. Or charge spoon.

Mine was uncomfortable from the get-go. It seems very firm compared to my Boardman saddles and after 1000 miles it's getting more uncomfortable.

Thanks for your input.

Took another look at the saddle angle and decided to tip the nose up to slightly over level.

Had 2 rides without any discomfort so hopefully problem solved without shelling out.

Funny old thing saddles. I found the Pro Logo on my RT-58 a bit firm after the Charge Spoon on my Plug, but a bit of fiddling with position and angle later, I now prefer it. My longest ride on it was 76 miles and my butt was the only thing that didn't ache at the end and my bib shorts are nothing-special Altura.

The Prologo is now ever so slightly nose up in comparison to the Spoon, which only goes to show there's more to saddle comfort than simply moving from one sadle to another and so it is worth experimenting before getting the cheque book out.

Hi all
Just upgraded from rt 58 to a giant defy advanced.the fizik Aliante saddle is superb, like sitting in an armchair compared to the rt 58.
