I am converting from Nokia-ism to Andriod and want an equivalent app to the Sports Tracker.

I have tried Endomondo but it times the whole journey, whereas Sports Tracker can be set to pause if you are stopped for more than a predefined period.

What other ones should I try?

I'm pretty sure newer versions of Endomondo (sadly not ported to symbian) have an autopause in them, Charles - a pal of mine mentioned it to me a bit ago.

Yes, Endomondo has auto pause when you stop. You can also manually pause it.
I have also used MyTracks which is good, but I much prefer Endomondo for the sharing/community/challenge features.

There's also Runkeeper (the Pro version is free until the end of the month), but I don't think it autopauses so doesn't actually meet the requirement

If you end up going for Endomondo, don't forget to join the CC Team.
In fact, even if you prefer a different app, you could still join Endomondo and import your data from the gpx file.

Taken some time to find out how to connect to the Android Market. So far I have downloaded SportyPal and CardioTrainer. SportyPal didn't suit me, so now I'm trying CardioTrainer. I also have to forget Sports Tracker as that had a lot of customisation available.

After posting this, I will download Endomondo and My Tracks; and try them
