Replacement Chamois

I know a company/individual used to advertise services in 'Cycling Weekly', but I can't find it in the copies I have

So, does anyone know anywhere I can get them replaced, as my good (club) thermal bib-tights are splitting on the edge of the insert, & (to be frank!) 'nipping'..........

Plan B: Could you cut the chamois out and wear a pair of shorts underneath?

Has the advantage of extra warmth but extra faffing for calls of nature.

I thought about that solution, but reckoned someone might have an idea as to a replacement provider

Its funny that you should start this thread. Hubby & I were talking about this very subject yesterday. We both have a couple of pairs of perfectly servicable shorts with chamois that are as flat as a pancake and about as much use.
There is a market for replacement chamois, I am sure. I certainly don't have the skills to make and market them though.

I personally would be wary of the comfort of new chamois added to a 3-D shape when it would originally have been added to the tights before the sides were sewn up.

I've seen chamois for sale in the pound shop.
