I had a crash on Sunday and manged to snap the stud that holds the front canti brake on my Uncle John frame. It sheared off cleanly and i was able to get it out. The question is, does anybody know who might be able to sell me a replacement? I can find plenty in the USA but nothing here.
I think this is the sort of thing I'm looking for:

Bummer! Just checked the spares parts bin and I found 2 MTB canti studs lurking in a tin of bits. Whilst these will probably fit they'd stick out a lot further than the original studs (I've checked - I have an Uncle John, too!). I also have a pair of Kaffenback forks and those studs appear to be welded on. Again: bummer!

Thanks for checking.

I found two MTB posts from an old Pace fork that looked good but the threads were too big. Going to try LBS tomorrow and see what they come up with or this will be the shortest cross season on record!
