Renewing Shimano 600 hoods

Just replaced the hood's on a pair of Shimano 600 non aero levers.

Used a pair of Dia Compe ones not perfect but an awful lot better than the original ones.

I also used these. The old ones had perished so I can't compare but the new ones are comfortable enough.

I've got Cane Creek hoods on mine. Definitely a worthwhile job to smarten up the bike!

Any tips for new covers for the early (I'm guessing late 80s or early 90s) aero hoods? Preferably in white, which I realise is a bit of a challenge
