Slight problem the end of last week, led to an ear being glued back into place. Amongst a few places on the head.

First time I've had it, glue, used anywhere but the head. So I'm not too certain on how best to remove it, without re-opening the cut its holding closed.

Genuine suggestions appreciated. I've yet to get full movement down my right side & in the neck.

I've got no suggestions for you - but you should stop wielding that scythe so wildly! You're going to take someone's your own head off! ;)

I had glue holding together a surgical incision that ran from my ankle to the inside of my upper thigh. I think it was 23" long. It itched like Hell for about two weeks but it did the job.
Why do you want to remove it if it's performing a useful function?

You are Vincent Van Gogh and ICMFP.

Told to leave it in place for about a week, before making any attempt to remove it. I'd just assumed it needed removing, being told that bit.

Doesn't the skin on the scalp take longer to heal? I'm trying to remember when one of my children had it after a nasty bump with a door jam on Christmas Eve one year. I'm sure we left it till it started to come off by itself.

No suggestions other than to reiterate the advice to ask the doc.

Not being able to keep up with the pace of the Tea? thread any more I've obviously missed some news. What happened and are you healing okay?

As suggested, speak with your GP's nurse.
IME the skin has it's own method of getting rid of things stuck to it, whether plasters, car body filler, glue etc. If something doesn't wash or scrub off, I leave it. Anything from 24 hours later onwards, it starts to peel or flake off.

Fit, slight problem, during which I manged to split the head in a few places, slice the bottom of the ear loose and bruise my right hand side and the head.
On the up side, I didn't get stuck to anything in the hospital this time, unlike the last they used glue on me.

I'd give it a dusting of French chalk and leave it alone.

P.S. How did you remove glue the last time?
