Removing a Rear Wheel with A Shimano Alfine Hub

I would appreciate some help and instructions on how to remove the rear wheel of my bike.

I am very new to cycling, so very much a learning experience for me.

The rear wheel has a Shimano Alfine 8 Hub, so I'm guessing it's not just as simple as loosening the nuts!

Cheers,

Howard, of this forum has done a very good, easy to follow video.

Here's the Youtube link:

Very good link Moodyman - and, honestly, it's not as scary as it looks.

By the way, (and I will probably be burnt at the stake for this) if you want to just change the tyre or the tube, you don't even have to do all that. Just undo the two nuts, slide the wheel up and out of the drops, replace tyre/tube and reseat the wheel. No need to mess with the gear changing mechanism or cables at all.
.

I've read about this, but I can't see how it would work on my bike - Charge Mixer - same as Howard's. On my bike, you can't really get the wheel out without releasing the gear cable. Don't bother explaining Uncle M - I'll have another gander when I next need to do this.
