I am remotely logged in to my work financial system and want to print some reports at home, how do I set up my printer on my work computer?

remote printing is a pain. Either install the printer software on the work pc (takes ages) or email the doc to the other pc, or copy with a USB stick. If it is in some format you cannot open on the home pc, install pdf995 or cutepdf on the work pc, then print the doc, selecting the PDF package as you printer

the software is already on the work pc as i have the same printer at home as I do at work. I presume I have to go into printsetup and choose the home network option but I don't know what info to put in then. I can't email these particular printouts because they are in a financial accounting system and can't be attached (at least as far as I know)

Re-read the previous post: print to PDF, then print the PDF from your home machine.

try the pdf route - it is easy and works. If the drivers etc are already on the work pc, why don't you just plug the printer into that, then select that printer when you come to print....
