Jimmy Carr was dire, as is usual for that smug, sanctimonious g*t. And sorry, but I just don't find the latest Peter Kay character at all funny. That musical Zorro was dire too.. But it did have some halfway decent acts on.

Jimmy Carr was a bit off form, I normally think he's ace.

My missus got us tickets to see him, she doesn't like him, but it was my birthday. She thinks hes smug too.

Anyway, we got to the theatre and I was suprised to see large cardboard cut outs of some camp guy I off the telly that I don't like.

Turns out she'd got mixed up with Alan Carr.

Two hours of teeth grinding non hilarity

Disappointment doesn't begin to describe it.

Peter Kay was dire. Graham Norton could have stayed at home. I spent the evening flicking between Palladium and River Cottage. On balance, River Cottage was better. Then I lusted over Nigella.

I remember watching Roy Castle with two of his old mates doing a variety hall act. There was an older guy in a hat who talked a lot, and a tall gormless looking chap. The funny bits were when they all looked around missing each others' gaze. Unexpectedly amusing.
