Religiously done Gisburn forrest every week but now icy!

Dear All

We have enjoyed Gisburn Forrest every Sunday since March this year. The problem is that the trail is now very icy. A fortnight ago, it was -6 and very slippy. We went out on Friday night, the tempreture was 3 degrees but plenty of icy patches.

I am afraid, we will not able to continue for long. What do other do during the cold snap period?

Winter is the most exciting and varied time of year for trail riding.

Agreed. When it's icy and the ground is frozen I can commute home via mountain bike trails without getting completely covered in mud!
