At £100 I just couldn't resist, tho' I knew it was sure to bring down a shitstorm from 'er indores, specially after buying another just three months back. I was actually quite relieved to get outbid. Sort of...

Shame tho'....what a beauty! Someone got a bargain.

I don't see what the fuss is about. Not been cared for... filthy and looks like a pile of shite to me.... then again what do I know.

i think you've been lucky. £126 for an average steel frame with not so much as sti shifters. it would be a case of replacing everything as it wore out, costing more than the price of a reasonable base model alu bike.

Barbarians! Philistines! 'average steel frame'...not to mention 'pile of shite'! You're the kind of people who'd look at the Parthenon and suck your teeth - 'that roof's in a shocking state'....

That's a T.J. ('Tommy') Quick, built by one of the true greats in the golden age of British frame-building out of fine upstanding 531. Ref:

It would ride like a dream and be solid as a rock. You young fellers...don't know you're born...(don slippers, suck on pipe, harumph harumph etc...)

I've just aquired a tandem. Haven't brought it home yet as I need to work out how to slip it in under the radar!
