You're looking at it all wrong.....you should be looking at the fun part of motorbike ownership, not how much you can save. If I were a tightwad and originally gone for a BSO instead of my roadie, I'd have lost interest in the first week of ownership (well have been there and done that on other bikes before anyhow)

I look at the fuel gauge of all the cars I've ever owned, and scrutinised the amount of fuel burnt by each one, but I've never ever done this with a motorbike...funny that
£1800. Up to 140mpg. The model isn't 3 years old yet so can't say. I lost £700 on my PX over 12 months.
I agree with Linford, but if you have no interest in the scoot other than as a means of cheap transportation, then the Honda make sense, it'll likely be 100% problem free.

I've had a lot of Vespa's, mainly PX's never lost a penny on any, made money on most, however, I've never owned a new one. I reckon I could buy a problem free, but perhaps cosmetically challenged, PX for less than £1k and not lose any money on it, ever.

Think about it.

LML do automatic twist and goes and definitely look the part...................I'd like one.

Reviews seem to be pretty good, I'd like a ride on one. My LML geared 4 stroke has been great similar to the Honda MPG but...................it's not a Vespa. If this had been out I'd have bought one, best of both worlds for me, modern automatic engine but with classic styling.

The 2 Yamaha's I owned were faultless, but I never ever got any pleasure from them.
