I'm planning to do a little quiet London trip tomorrow on the boardman hybrid.

I'm thinking of cycling up-to Madia Vale then joining the canal of following the attached route (via The View Tube) to Canary Wharf, then jumping on a Thames Clipper to Blackfriars.

Has anyone else down this route and would 28mm tyres be okay for this canal part?

28mm should be fine I use the Regents canal for my coomute when I'm actually in London. It's a paved towpath, just watch out for the ninja joggers in all black

greenway through park doesn't look open still. (points 13-15 on the actual map )at stratford High road it is most certainly fenced off heading towards the park . probably better to pick up wick lane fairfaeild road then brave bow to abbey lane and head for limehouse cut back down to the marina .

limehouse cut is fine on 28s but there is a rough section under one bridge where you will need to dismount unless you have a suspension fork

Enjoy and chill out.
If the path is completely loaded with peds, just use some commonsense and dismount rather than pinging incessantly like some impatient types.
