Reg Harris Bike - anyone still riding one?

I was given a Reg Harris Reynolds steel framed bike (second hand) around 1973/74. I’ve been riding it for pleasure, commuting and UK and European touring from childhood to retirement I’ve 3 other bikes but this is the most used highest mileage. In all this time i’ve never seen another and of course Reg Harris himself is now forgotten by most people. Anyone out there with a Reg Harris bike or frame?

I seem to recall that his bike business wasn't a success, so there probably aren't all that many about.

Saw him on a bike once when on a club run in Cheshire and he waved! This was before he made his dramatic comeback.

of course Reg Harris himself is now forgotten by most people.

There has been a Statue of Reg Harris at the Manchester Velodrome for years, I don't think he's forgotten by track cyclists. I've ridden to his grave stone at the church in Chelford a few times.

My dad used to race against Reg Harris when there was an outdoor concrete track at Failsworth. He was quite proud that he never won.

There is one on the Bay of E, plus a couple of frame sets.

Just come across your post, and yes, I still ride one. I was given the frame by one of my school teachers in around 1969 and have used it in various configurations ever since. About 5 years ago gave it a thorough makeover including widening the forks and stays to take modern components. I’ll see whether I can send a picture…
