Redundant stickies?

Does anyone reckon that the two stickies in Race are worth keeping? One with only 8 posts and not used since early April, the other unused for a fortnight and with only 46 replies.

What do you reckon?

I think the youtube post saw a boost of posts around tdf time as people caught the spectator bug... but seems to be dying out now....

No harm people posting individual videos as topics if they feel its worth sharing.


As for the other one, seems a little specific.. therefore redundant for most of us?

The racing one has only had nearly 3500 hits so I guess it's not of much interest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your concern. Your views are important to us and will be treated with all due consideration.

There are plenty of non-sticky threads in Cafe which reappear from time to time once they've established themselves with a fanbase (Beer? Girls in Lycra etc) and they don't need to be sticky.

I see your point, thought the racing moments one is popular and as racing is less well visited than elsewhere not having it as a sticky would probably sink it.

Dave's track one could maybe go, he's not here during the summer anyway.

Just move them to Cafe like everything else that people want to get maximum exposure for whatever the subject....

I agree that having a lot of 'stickies' at the top of a page can be a nuisance at times but in the case of the racing clips I feel the stickie should remain. I don't know about others but I look at them from time to time when there is nothing much else going on and can see no reason to move them. The racing section is not exactly busy so I can't see much advantage in moving it to make room for other topics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
