Parting with an absolute classic of a recumbent the german Radius Hornet/V16. I inherited it from my father but no longer have the space to keep it alongside my other bikes. It is in very good working condition please see pictures.
It has Magura hydraulic rim brakes, front and rear suspension, and a Shimano groupset. It also has adjustment for Height of the rider in the seat and in the tube which extends out front (downtube?)
The brakes work very well as you can imagine hydraulic rim brakes are very effective.
Suspension is very effective, I have not riden other recumbents but I would not want to ride one without full suspension.
The Gear shifting works well except it sometimes struggles to get into the lowest gear on the front chainring, Just an adjustment issue I assume but has not been enough of a problem to get around to sorting.
Also fitted with a rim dynamo and wiring for lights which I have never tested but I would assume do not work I have always left disengaged.
The Seat is very comfortable and has adjustment for posture but has a couple of chunks of foam missing and also an arrow decal on the back which being from Germany instructs traffic behind to undertake (however I have never had issues with this aha).
These very rarely come up for sale in the UK and based on past sales I am asking for £2300 with the small defects mentioned above.
Collection from Bristol
