Busy speccing out a bike I can't yet afford.

But one thing for certain is that none of the standard wheel options that are offered with this bike are right for me.
Not a huge problem as I usually build my own wheels anyway, and LBS is happy to deduct cost of stock wheels from the price they charge me.

But this bike will be full Campag, and the choice of hubs is a lot more limited than for Shimano.

So what hub does the CC community recommend for a 32 spoke (possibly 28 spoke front) Campag compatible handbuilt wheelset? Rims will likely be Open Pro, or possibly DT Swiss RR465

Hope Pro 3 - rather noisy ?
Royce - I've read of early bearing failures ?
Campag - very chunky look ?
Chris King - horribly expensive

Any other suggestions ?

The only one I can think of that has not been mentioned is PMP. Both Harry and Derek at Wheelsmith use and provide useful built price guidance for them and those already mentioned.

Nothing against those two very excellent wheelbuilders - but I do like to "roll my own".
Anyone know where in the UK one can buy PMP hubs without them being built up into a wheel?
I've too much experience of Italian business practice to want to buy online direct from Italy.
