Hi,

I would appreciate some recommendations for a wheelset to save a bit of weight from my 2013 Spesh Allez Sport. The current wheelset is "Axis Classic", it reads "Classic Etrto 622 x 14" and I think the brand is DT Swiss. I had a look here but I can't seem to find it:

At the moment I'm going blindly, just not sure whether the extra cost will justify the weight saving....

Thanks.

Best just use those wheels til they wear out and save some cash to get a nice set. Why do you want to save weight though? If you're using cheapo tyres then change those to something like Michelin Pro3 or Pro4 - you'll notice a huge difference, probably more than you'd notice with wheels costing 2 or 3 hundred quid.

That's good advice - thanks.
What's so good about Michelin Pros?

EDIT: OK, they're much lighter.
Thanks
