............some disposable "rubber" gloves. When out on the bike it gets filthy dirty at this time of year so even puncture repairs mean very mucky hands. Something light and easy to carry around to get roadside fixes done and keep the paws clean.

Any discount / other retailer sells them: about £3 a box of 100 gloves, so 50 pairs.

I would heartily recommend the Ansell "Touch n Tuff" I usually use at work, but at £20 a box? We struggled to buy the Ansell ones during the PPE shortage so we switched to slightly thinner (and cheaper) ones, which are actually decent, but for the life of me I cant remember the name of them! Toughglove or something. Be wary of the cheaper ones as the first bit of stress on the material will shred them and you'll still end up with dirty hands.

Nitrile gloves of the correct size. If they are big and floppy then doing things is difficult. Too small and they don't go on, especially if a bit wet.

Lidl have them in boxes of 100, they do the job for me, I can't remember the cost but nothing is expensive there
I carried a pair in an old 35mm film container in my pannier for many miles.

I can't use gloves of any sort. Just get filthy hands. My son has a box of them for car stuff. I just get dirty.

I keep a pair of nitrile gloves (my box is from Screwfix) with tyre levers/patches/allen keys et al. But they do deteriorate over time so, like the little tubes of vulcanising fluid, they need regular checking/replacement (every 2 months?).

It's when I have to readjust my white hair (yes I've still got hair) greasy smears spoil my otherwise handsome appearance.
