What pedal system are you using Vike?

Recommending shoes is difficult - what works is what's comfortable on your feet, and we all have different feet.. narrow, wide, flat, big, small, bunions... then there's whether or not you're using cleats and what system. Plus - don't know about you, but I don't like shoes online - one of those things I want to try on and then decide. How about looking at the various online retailers - to get an idea of what's out there in your price range and then look for said shoes in bike shops where you can try them on.

I've never had the DHB shoes so can't comment directly. On the other hand I have used other DHB items and found them to be good value for the quality. Hope this helps a bit.

Specialized Sport Road, sub £50 at Evans and JEJames last time I looked. Cracking insole at that price level as well as a nice shoe.

I have the TB sport which is physically the same shoe but the sole has a few small bits of sticky out mouldings surrounding the cleat area so you can actually walk on them. The SPD system is as good as road ones in my view and allows me to use all my shoes on all my bikes. I use these shoes for triathlons and road riding too. They are a bit "meshy" and in the winter I use Spesh Tahos which are heavier duty (and with overshoes)
