Recommend me, a set of clip on cyclocross/gravel bike compatible mud guards

As in the title.

My CX bike has either 38mm knobblies or 28mm Gatorskin tyres, but, absolutely no mudguard eyes or any such other useful mounts - nothing.

I'd like to get some clip on guards that will take a bit of 'rough', and give good coverage.

Current leader is the Raceblade Pro XL, although it says 32mm max tyre width.

I've used the Pro XLs on my Orbea Gain with 35mm gravel tyres, worked fine. 38s might be pushing it but you could set them so they're above the tyre rather than wrapping round the sides though you might get a little spray off the sides.

That's what I'm thinking - bit more gap. It's bog season here now !

That's what I'm thinking - bit more gap. It's bog season here now !

The limiting factor is where the stays join the plastic body, the protrusions where they fix are the first points to rub. You could file them down to pull back a few mm.
