Recommend me a 10 speed chains......

Just cocked my chain up and need to replace it. I could repair it tbh, but I might as well replace it and salvage links out of the old one for the emergency pack.

Currently running an Ultegra 6700 10 speed chain with an FSA SL-K Light chainset and SRAM red cassette.

I'm not interested in Campy chains, (too fiddly), so any choices need to be compatible with the salvaged links of my current Ultegra chain.

Or so I just buy another Ultegra one?

Thanks

Sram, can't remember the exact model number, but it was about £20 from Decathlon last time I got one.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Campag Veloce ...... Yes I know you said ........ but just use a KMC Campag link, no need to faff about with their ridiculous system.

+ Another vote for KMC. Otherwise SRAM is an OK fit and forget but if you want to open the chain again KMC is better and Shimano is too fiddly for opening and closing.

I am looking to put a Shimano 2350 chainset on my bike. The blurb says compatible with HG Chains. Does that mean I have to buy Shimano HG Chain or can I use any 8 speed chain?

I find the X10 a very reliable chain, seems to last much longer then any Shimano I have had.
And they do a Silver and other colour versions.

According to wiggle the X10 is 6.2mm

The connex-wipperman sx10 I had on my old bike were 5.9mm

Personally, I wouldn't get this one as the extra 0.3mm might cause noise (if wiggle is right of course)
