Anyone recommend cycling books relating to general maintenance, wheel building, cycling fitness or anything useful? I have the space available and over the next couple of years woudl like to build up a workshop in one of my garages, and would like to start to build up my knowledge now. I prefer books as I read before I get my head down and if I took my laptop to bed would just end up on this forum all night :hyper:

For maintenance, The Park Book usually comes highly recommended although I've never used it myself. I have this one which is a bit cheaper and okay but it is now almost 7 years old so won't have any info on more up to date tech.

Not quite what you are looking for but may I recommend Lance Armstrong's 'It's Not About The Bike'?
Thoroughly enjoyed it as an easy read about his remarkable battle with cancer and subsequent comeback to win the Tour de France.
