Recomendtations for 26mm clamp drop bars to suit 80s Orbit America

Had a nasty 'bar failure and am struggling to find suitable replacements that don't look like plastic. Anyone got any ideas? Not looking to spend a fortune so looking for safe not fancy.

26mm is 3ttt territory, nothing on evilbay ? Hilary Stone has 26mm but often top dollar....

Thanks Shaun. Wanted to avoid 'second-user' or NOS components as the reason for needing new 'bars was sudden and total failure of the existing item (and all of the ensuing excitement that can bring!)

Eventually found suitable items from Deda (Speciale 26) and Zenith. Both traditional-looking ally drop bars, both under 22 quid.

Ta for the response though.

Yes thanks mate, all better now (although the tree is still having recurring nightmares!)

The Zenith were £22 from Velo Vitality and the Deda £17 from J D Whisker (who don't normally sell to the public but I caught them on a good day!) Got their contact details from Deda's site in the Dealer search.
