hi all I used to have spezialised all condition armadillo puncture resistant tyres for my sirrus elite 700x28c but have found they don't last that long, and the tread is bonded on and comes adrift after some time.

I have marathon plus on my hybrid (700x28) they wear well , I have had punctures but have still been able to cycle home but its been hard work, but find on some rough tarmac surfaces the rolling resistance is harder than the all condition.

I want something for my sirrus which gives a reasonable lifespan ( I do about 70-100 miles a week mainly road /cycle paths)

I have seen that continental do a hard case type tyre about £18 but do not know if these are slicks

thank you

The armadillo and marathon are in a league of their own for puncture resistance ime but roll badly but I continue to use them through the winter as I have found nothing that rolls better and gives same puncture protection.

Michelin pro4 .... Ok I`m joking, Schwalbe M+ are probably up there as the best, i found Durano Plus pretty damm good on my fixed last winter. Rolled well but like all puncture resistant tyres, they get lively in the wet!
