Can you define what reasonably priced means for you?
Reliable ones are Busch & Muller, Schmidt or Shimano. What's your budget?
Found some cheap ones but want something a bit more, hopefully, reliable.
What did you find that you don't think is reliable?
Just applying the usual logic that some which costs £25 is not going to last as long as something that's 4 times the price, given the same circumstances.
The one we got from them seems fine. Rim braked.I've had a bit of a search as I was planning dynamo lighting for the commuter which has a disc hub. Best I found price wise was about £80 from Taylor in Germany via Ebay. Not yet bought one mind, so can't comment on quality.
Rose (or German stores in general) is usually the best place to look for dynamos. Something like this - https://www.rosebikes.co.uk/article/shimano-deore-lx-dh-t675-disc-hub-dynamo/aid:591997
Unfortunately all the Shimano ones are centre-lock so you would need an adaptor.
Spa Cyles have a SP PD-8 for £70 + postage which is 6 bolt - https://www.spacycles.co.uk/m2b0s133p3037/SP-DYNAMO-PD-8-Disc

That's good to hear- thanksI've got the Shutter Precision PD-8, which is a 6 bolt QR dynamo hub. And I got it from Spa.
Cannot recommend it highly enough, it's very lightweight, well constructed, and looks really nice too. Seems reliable enough, got through the last winter without a single problem, still running super smooth, don't notice it when it's running the lights. Big thumbs up from me.
Could do but want to retain comparability with the rear.just buy a centrelock disc
