Rear Rack - Fitting one

How do you fit a rear rack? Probaly a stupid question I know.. But I'd like to have room for luggage at the back of my bike so I can pick some stuff up at the supermarket or shops. And I take it they fit on any type of bike?

What bike? Many will take a rack but some won't. Also, some bikes don't have all the right fittings (called braze-ons) and will need extra clips or brackets to make a rack fit.

I might just take it to a local bike shop or go a cycle to decathlon and get them to fit one. Need to get some other bits and bobs anyway for it before I go out long distances on it

that bike has points to mount a rack so its very straightforward really basic tools (prob a 6mm allan key and a scredriver maybe )and shouldnt take more than about ten min ,very very easy

easy see the 2 round tubes pointing outwards above the brake blocks a good rack will have arms that mount on them and just above the rr axle or wheel nuts there is a mounting point which is either threaded or not and the lower leg or support bolts in to there so easy to do

That'll be fine - it's got all the mounts for a rack and seems to have ones for full mudguards too if you wanted. It will just be a case of bolting it on.

Well I'll give it a go myself then! I plan on building the bike myself so the rest should be straight forward right?

It's pretty easy. Can be a bit of a faff if you've never done it before but if I can manage to do it.... you'll be fine

please dont take it to an lbs for that ,if u dont wana touch the bike give me a shout ,in fact if u need tools or anything gimme a shout ,im no expert but i can do most things or if i cant il help lol
