Rear mech

Hi all
Bit of advice please,i am looking to purchase a new rear mech but which one,i currently run an alvio with 3 rings up front any views greatly appriciated

The choice of rear mech mainly comes down to what you are running at the moment. How many different gears have you got on the cassette at the rear of the bike? 7, 8, 9 or 10?

Yep. That's a pretty good recommendation.

And the correct answer is - get the very best that you can afford/justify. If you're running Shimano though, don't be tempted to go for a SRAM mech unless you intend to change the shifters too, as the actuation ratio is different (Shimano 2:1, SRAM 1:1)

Just done a midday blast up round ogden resi and beyond total 36kilometres and no faults my old mech and this are in a different league
