Hi guys,

I have recently bought a lezyne macro/micro set which are fab but the rear one won't fit on the aero post on my bike and has since been snaffled by the other half for his round posted Tarmac.

Currently I have a halyards cheap one (the rear from this set) http://www.halfords.com/cycling/bike-lights-locks/bike-lights/bikehut-compact-led-light-set clipped on to my saddle bag but it has been pointed out this evening that this isn't very effective due to the angle, the shape of the bag makes the light point too far down at the back wheel.

Can anyone recommend a rear light that will mount on the aero post or possibly elsewhere that will be more visible? The seat stays are quite slim and have odd angles so not ideal either!

I'm aware of the Lezyne http://www.lezyne.com/product-led-sport-strippro.php#.VgGuwHhBHUk but don't really want to spend £40 on one light! I don't commute on this bike or ride out in any really bad weather but more just in case. I used to have my halfords one on blinking on every ride, regardless of weather, but now I know this is pointless! Suggestions welcome!

Maybe look for a Giant branded one, they seem to use lots of aero seatposts on their bikes

I've put a little Knog light on the seatstay on my tt bike to get around this as it's got a stretchy strap and was cheap at Halfords.
Works a treat.

I feel that the clipped on light will actually produce more than enough, but you could always get one of those that mount to the seatstay and can be angled. Either Smart or Cateye, or both, sell them with the stay mount included. Or fit a shim or a bit of cut rubber from an old inner tube to the seatpost to keep the light in place.

Many solutions!
