my commuter bike was running fine (albeit on the wrong tyres ),so tdy i set about changing the tyres ,both wheels off and tyres replaced front was no prob but upon refitting the rear wheel it kinda "clicks once per turn (approx )the only thing i can think of is the axle is broke and me taking the wheels off has disturbed it (if it has been broke before its rode fine and i assume cos it was all buttoned up it couldnt move /rotate)
thing is it if was broke wouldnt it fall out ?
i cant feel any play in it
i dont wana take it to bits as its loose balls and its a nightmare ,i guess its an lbs job
any ideas peeps?

I knew about it within a minute or two, when I once snapped a rear axle, much swearing and horrible noises ensued preventing me from getting up that hill. Much more likely to be an issue with the rolling surfaces or cups within the hub.

Having said that, hubs don't tend to click when they complain, sounds like it may be a problem with the drivetrain.
