Rear cable guide for a CB?

I have an old CB Majestic circa 1980 and have recently stripped her down for a respray etc. A few parts have had it, the headset needs replacing and seeing as I'm not doing an authentic restoration that's no problem - there's loads to choose from although any recommendations would be good?

However there is one small part which is also knackered which serves as a rear brake cable guide and doubles up as a tightener, with a bolt through it, for the seat stem. It sits right at the top of the frame just below the seat. So, first question is this known as a cable guide? Second question, if anyone knows the part I am talking about do you know where I could get a replacement or something that will do the job just as well. A cursory glance on the internet hasn't brought much up in terms of old parts but any part that would do the job just as well...

Any suggestions? I hope this is in the right place by the way.

Would one of these from SJS be what you're looking for?

Gawd only knows where you'd find one of those buggers in this day and and age. I'm not sure that the Doctors suggested part will fit your bike. If you havent had it resprayed yet why not have your local frame builder braze a proper hanger on it?

Thanks Doctor, I guess it's just trial and error. One thing I mentioned is the bolt that goes through to tighten up the seat stem. Well, I presume that would work without the piece I'm talking about? Just with the bolt I mean?

Just to clarify the frame is a Reynold's 531 Mickle so I guess it's trial and error if the part from SJS fits? Looks liek there are a few sizes and I don't care how it looks and it doesn't have to be in any way authentic...

...thanks for the replies...
